Directions to race
Volunteers are needed on Saturday and Sunday February 5th and 6th. Please click the Volunteer Now button to register online for one, or more, of the available jobs.
Volunteers are guaranteed one of our new long sleeve unisex technical running shirts.
If you're running you can still volunteer before the race as a parking guide or at the registration tables.
- Participant Cap: The race will be capped at the first 800 registrants.

$25 Entry Fee plus Long Sleeve Technical Running Shirt
- Race Day Registration: Cape Elizabeth High School cafeteria, 8:15am -
9:30am
- Runner amenities:
Chip timing, Pizza, bagels, yogurt, bananas, hot coffee, Endurance Forumula Gatorade, and water available after the race for runners only. Showers and changing rooms available in high school. Free sports massage available after race.
- Long Sleeve Technical Shirts!
The race entry fee does NOT include a race shirt. You may order separately a high quality long sleeve unisex technical shirt made by SweatVac. You must buy your shirt by January 14th, 2011, in order to be guaranteed the desired size on race day -- sizes can not be guaranteed after this date. We will make our best effort to forecast the number of extra shirts and sizes needed after the cutoff date. Shirts ordered after the cut-off date will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. A shirt will be mailed to you after the race only if you pre-ordered a size and we run out of shirts at registration.
- Packet Pickup:
Packet pickup will be held on Saturday 2/5 and Sunday 2/6. On Saturday pre-registered runners may pick up their bibs and shirt at the Maine Running Company store located at 563 Forrest Ave from 10am to 5pm. On Sunday packets may also be picked up at the Cape Elizabeth High School from 8:15am to 9:30am. Please pick up your packets on Saturday to help us minimize the stress on race day morning.

- Awards: Awards given to the top 3 overall men and women, and top 3men and women in following age groups: 1-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Additional awards given to top 3 Clydesdales (male, 190 to 210 lbs), Clydesdales (male, 211+lbs), Fillies (female, 140 to 160 lbs), Fillies (female, 161+ lbs). An award will also be given to the youngest and oldest finisher. Runners may only win one award. Clydesdales and Fillies are not eligible for Age Group awards.
- Cash Prize: A $100 cash prize will be given for new male and female open and masters course records. Course records: Open male -- Open male: Judson Cake , 50:57 (2010)
; Open female -- Susannah Beck, 58:07 (2004); Masters male -- Todd Coffin, 55:19 (2007); Masters female: Mary Pardi, 1:04:26 (2010) .

- Direction (from the south): I-95 north to exit 45 (formerly exit 7), South
Portland. Through toll booth, take Broadway exit. Stay on Broadway
(approx 4 miles) to route 77. Turn right on 77 (Ocean St). Stay
straight into Cape Elizabeth (approx 3.5 miles). Follow signs
and instructions of parking guides to parking areas.
- Direction (from the north): South on I-295 to exit 6A, Forest Ave. South.
Bear right through Deering Oaks park.This is State Street. Go
up hill, cross Congress Street staying on State Street. Follow
signs to South Portland, Route 77. Cross Casco Bay Bridge into
South Portland. Follow signs to Route 77, Cape Elizabeth. Take
Route 77 (approx 3.5 files). Follow signs and instructions from
parking guides to parking areas.
